The Surrey Light Blues were once again well represented at this year’s Light Blues Quarterly Communications, joining around 1,600 Brethren and Companions at Freemasons’ Hall for an afternoon celebrating participation, education and the future of Freemasonry.

Surrey members enjoyed the opportunity to meet Brethren from across the Constitution, renew friendships and take part in a varied and engaging programme.

The event was well supported by the Surrey Provincial Executive, including W. Bro Nick Burger (Provincial Grand Master), W. Bro Robbie Dobbie (Deputy Provincial Grand Master), and W. Bro Richard Matthews, together with W. Bro Steve Jones (Provincial Grand Secretary).

A particular highlight for Surrey was the opportunity for Bro Victor Fakeye to deliver one of the afternoon’s presentations in the Grand Temple, addressing the Pro Grand Master and a distinguished audience.

His contribution reflected the Province’s continuing commitment to encouraging and developing Light Blue Masons.

The Light Blues Quarterly Communications once again demonstrated the value of bringing newer Brethren together, fostering friendship, participation and Masonic learning.

It was a memorable occasion and a fitting conclusion to another successful season for Surrey Light Blues.
