Article Submission

Got a great news story? Why not share it on the Provincial website?

We want to hear from you if you have some good news or an article to share with the general public.

Whether it is a charity event, Lodge BBQ, social event or a celebration of a lodge member’s achievement in public life. You can even submit a general article about Freemasonry or your journey so far, why you joined, and what it means to you. All articles will be considered.

How to:

To submit an article is easy. Take time to map out what you want to write. Consider between 400 and 500 words for your article.

Once you are happy, save it to your computer as a Word document ready for submission. Where it says drop files here click and locate the file you created.

Images:

Images MUST be of good quality. The lowest size is 800px x 600px. A picture paints a thousand words so do think about the photos you wish to use as only two are allowed in each article.

Rejection:

If your article is of poor quality or your images are blurred, or pixelated, the article will likely be rejected.

Likewise, if we are inundated with too many articles on the same subject, your article may be rejected or held over to the next month.

This helps to balance the wider picture we are trying to portray to the public.

Be Mindful!

If you are submitting images of lodge members, permission must be obtained from each, as they will be displayed on a public website. Your article should NOT include details such as personal email addresses or telephone numbers. Names are fine.
