With a Little Help From their Friends

In February, I was invited along to the Earl of Zetland Chapter in London to assist the Chapter by acting as MEZ.  Also present were a number of Heads of Orders present and past from other Masonic Orders in Surrey.

There was E.Comp. Ian Clark, the Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Province of Surrey, the Chapter Director of Ceremonies; E.Comp. Michael Barnes, the Past Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler of the Order of Secret Monitor and Past Provincial Grand Summus in the Order of the Scarlet Cord, the Second Principal of the Chapter; and E.Comp. John French, the District Grand Prefect of the Allied Masonic Degrees, District of Surrey, who acted as Third Principal

The main item on the agenda was a talk by E.Comp. Michael Barnes on the new knowledge based system, Solomon.  This most interesting and informative talk was very well received and prompted some good discussion afterwards.

After the Chapter was closed we all went along to the Imperial Hotel, Russell Square, for a most convivial festive board.
