About Surrey Hills Lodge in Croydon, Surrey.

Surrey Hills Lodge No.7494 of Antient Free and Accepted Masons was Consecrated at the Croydon Masonic Hall on Wednesday 30th January 1957.

W. Bro. Frederick Charles Cooper was Master Designate.

The Ceremony of Consecration was performed by R.W.Bro. Lieut-Col H. A. Mann OBE, MC. Provincial Grand Master.

There has now been Sixty Worshipful Masters of the Lodge.  The Lodge now has Regular Meetings on the Third Thursday of February, April, September and November, With the Master being Installed during the February Meeting.

The Lodge currently has 35 members including honorary members.

The Lodge of Instruction meets on Tuesday evenings, at the moment the three Tuesdays prior to the Regular Meeting.

Following Regular Meetings there is held a Festive Board when members can take wine with the Worshipful Master and enjoy a fine meal after the labours of the day.
