Surrey Freemasons remember the fallen

A number of Surrey Masons, (40+) their families and staff from Sutton Masonic Hall attended the Civic Act of Remembrance at Manor Park, Sutton followed by the Remembrance Day Service held St Nicholas Church.

W.Bro Roy Miller, PJGD aged 93rd and a holder of many awards including the Russian Ushakov Medal for service during the Arctic Convoys laid a wreath on behalf of Surrey Masons.

Also among the many Masons present were W.Bro Richard Wileman DepProvGM and W.Bro Stephen Dingvean 2nd ProvGPrincipal.

This was a well supported event  with the majority of Masons and their families returning to Sutton Masonic Hall for a social gathering after the service for a small libation and sausage and bacon butties.

A great day with Surrey Masons interacting with the Community and in W.Bro Roy Millers own words “One of the best Masonic days I have ever had’
