MCF CONFIRMATION OF SUPPORT – CORONAVIRUS
We are contacting you to tell you how the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is responding to the Coronavirus pandemic and explain what this means for you.
During this challenging time for us all, the MCF is committed to providing the best possible support for those we help.
We are pleased to reassure you that all confirmed grant payments to individuals will continue to be made as normal.
Agreed payments to suppliers and service providers on your behalf will also continue to be made.
Daily Living Expenses grants will continue to be reviewed on an annual basis as normal.
During this time, if your support is due for its annual review, we will arrange for you to have a short telephone call with one of our team who will ask you to confirm a few important details.
This phone call temporarily replaces the need for one of our volunteers to visit you to complete the full review form as per our normal procedure.
Contacting the team
Following government advice, all MCF staff are now working remotely, and we have put in place the resources and processes necessary to maintain our current support for those who we currently help.
Despite these measures, our ability to respond to enquiries may take longer than usual, and we ask for your patience and cooperation during these unprecedented times.
We would be grateful if any enquiries made are essential and sent via email whenever possible. If you cannot email and your call goes to voicemail please be assured that the message has been received and that we will respond.
At this time we ask that you do not make repeated attempts to call us as this prevents us from being able to call you and others back.
We will continue to monitor official guidance and our ability to deliver core services, adapting working practices as necessary; throughout this time your safety and well being will always remain our top priority.
We have been humbled by the amazing support that everyone in Freemasonry, and the wider community, is demonstrating and offering to each other at this difficult time as we all work together to get through this.
