Frederick Chapter of Unity; 50 year certificate

On Saturday 18th January E Comp Stephen Dingvean PGStB, 2ndProvGPrin visited Frederick Chapter of Unity no 452 to present E Comp Arthur Branson PPGSN, SLGCR with a certificate celebrating 50 years as a Royal Arch Mason.

95 years young, E Comp Arthur was in the Royal Navy at the end of WW11 as a film technician and was known as a bit of an inventor. For example, he was responsible for inventing a camera which was attached to Royal Navy submarine periscopes to name but one.

E Comp Arthur went on to enjoy a lengthy and successful career with the BBC and worked with a then very young Sir David Attenborough.

E Comp Dingvean and all the members of Frederick Chapter of Unity heartily congratulated Arthur on achieving this wonderful milestone.

In order to celebrate Arthur’s achievement, the Chapter voted unanimously to donate £100 to each of the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent’s charities; The Children’s Trust, LinkAble, 350th Squadron ATC and Pond Meadow School.
