Discover Freemasonry in Surrey
Research has shown there is a real appetite to know more about Freemasonry.
Equally we know that 89% of candidates join Freemasonry because someone asked them. Those people join because something about the Lodge interests them or they think it will satisfy their needs. Conversely research also shows that many of those who would not consider joining mistakenly believe ‘it is not for people like me’
The Province has been working in partnership with the Communications Team at UGLE to produce a new booklet entitled “Discover Freemasonry in Surrey” The booklet, which will be widely available at the Surrey Masonic Centres, aims to assist members in their recruitment efforts.
It explains that Freemasons use four guiding principles to help define their journey through life: integrity, friendship, respect and charity.
It is also intended to help the enquiring mind to find out what it means to be a Freemason, emphasising that membership is open to all men regardless of race, colour, religion or social and economic standing.
If you know of any suitable man who you think Freemasonry will appeal to, please consider handing him one of the booklets to pique his interest further or send this link for them to read online.
